Robert Johnson

Robert Johnson brings more than 25 years of experience to mophie and has demonstrated a consistent ability to drive strategy and deliver growth across diverse industries and business models, both small and large, corporate and start-up.

Before joining mophie, Mr. Johnson served in several roles at TaylorMade-adidas Golf Company. As executive vice president, he drove long-term strategic planning and growth, and oversaw all TaylorMade golf products from ideation, planning, budgeting, execution, design, production, lifecycle, and financials. As senior director of innovation, he was responsible for company success 18 months to 5 years out and led a team of seven that was responsible for all new products and technologies, M&A strategy, business modeling, brand positioning, and advanced industrial design. As vice president of marketing, Mr. Johnson oversaw strategy and regional execution of all U.S. marketing departments, including advertising, public relations, e-marketing, events, partnerships & promotions, retail marketing, and in-store/POS.

During his career, Mr. Johnson also served as vice president of marketing for MacGregor Golf, in addition to agency roles with Leagas Delaney, McCann Worldgroup, and Anderson& Lembke.

Mr. Johnson earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of the Pacific in 1993.
