New Patent Expands ZAGG's IP Protection Around the invisibleSHIELD

announced that yesterday, June 7, 2011, United States Patent No.
7,957,524, titled Protective Covering for an Electronic Device, was
issued to the company. The patent is directed to protective covers for
electronic devices such as ZAGG's full body invisibleSHIELD™ products.
These film-based body covers may include one or more films or sets of
films that substantially cover an electronic device and conform to its
shape. This patent is further evidence of ZAGG's continued commitment to
innovation and quality that protect and enhance the mobile experience.
The application for this patent was initially filed March 6, 2006 with
the US Patent and Trademark Office. The invisibleSHIELD was the first of
its kind and the original protection for electronic devices utilizing
clear military grade, protective film. Today, there are over 5,000
invisibleSHIELD designs for screens and full body protection.
